There is a wide range of cultural and sporting clubs and societies. Swimming pools at both Cheddar & Wells; Sailing & Windsurfing Clubs at Cheddar Reservoir; the Badgworth Equestrian Centre: Wedmore 18 Hole Golf Course; Floodlit Astroturf Tennis Courts; Indoor and Outdoor Bowling Green;, Football and Cricket clubs.


The Cathedral City of Wells is approximately 7 miles away and also provides a good range of business, recreational and shopping facilities. Directions: Post Code BS28 4SL From Wedmore take the B3139 towards Wells. Continue for nearly 2 miles. Pass a "no footway" sign, continue and the next paved driveway on the left is the entrance to Box Farm. From Wells take the A371 Cheddar road and before leaving Wells fork left onto the B3139 signposted Wedmore. Continue through Henton and Bleadney to Theale. Pass through the village and Box Farm is situated just on leaving the village with a brick paved driveway on the right hand side. The entrance is flanked by stonewalls leading to electric tall timber gates.
