West Charlton is one of the sought after villages in the area known as ‘The Charltons” near Somerton which is a thriving Market Town in the heart of Somerset yet with easy road access via the A303 road a few miles south and the main line rail station at Castle Cary. Somerton provides a wide range of local services including an independent Supermarket, Doctors Surgery, Library, Butchers, Newsagent, Chemist and Post Office. Close by are other small towns including Street, Glastonbury, Wells, Castle Cary, Yeovil and Sherborne whilst Bristol, Bath and Taunton are also within easy reach. There are excellent state and independent schools locally which include a well respected primary schools in Somerton and secondary schools (and 6th form college) in Street and Huish Episcopi. The kitchen & dining room is a very social setting with an open plan layout, perfect for dinner parties and family gatherings. The kitchen is well fitted with vast amounts of worktop and storage space, an electric Rangecooker, plus integral fridge, freezer and dishwasher appliances. As with the rest of the living rooms, the kitchen and dining room also enjoys the stunning countryside views. Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility area with a rear door and the study which could be used as a fourth bedroom if desired. All three bedrooms are generous doubles and each have the benefit of an en-suite. The bedrooms also all have valued ceilings with exposed beams and rafters. The master bedroom also has plenty of built in wardrobe space. Directions

From Castle Cary head towards Somerton on the B3153. At the Lydford crossroads turn left onto the A37 heading south. After approximately three miles turn right onto Tout Lane. Continue until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Ilchester Road. Take the first left onto Bonfire Lane. After passing the church take the first left down the private driveway and after a short distance the house will be signposted.
