A comfortable modern hose in a quiet setting with a good outlook. Well away from all traffic.

A delightful house enjoying a quiet position in a very pleasant residential area on the outskirts of Wells and within close walking distance of the city centre.

The house is well presented with spacious accommodation which includes an entrance hall, cloakroom, a large 21 ft. sitting room and a similar size, well fitted open plan, fitted kitchen and dining room plus a utility room. On the first floor are 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and an en suite shower room.

Outside is a very appealing landscaped garden, parking space and a garage.

Beadon Drive is a small cull de sac in a residential area on the southern outskirts of Wells, just off the Glastonbury Road. Nearby are a doctor’s surgery, pharmacy, supermarkets and bus station. The High Street, Market Place and Cathedral are all within easy walking distance. No.6 is at the end of a cul de sac with a beautiful open outlook and lots of privacy. Very close by are access points to a huge network of footpaths which range across the beautiful surrounding countryside including meadows, hills and woodland. Safe and perfect for ramblers and dogwalkers.

The property was built in recent years by the national and well regarded firm, Crest Nicholson, and has the remainder of its 10 year warranty. The handsome detached house has excellent and well-appointed accommodation with double glazing and gas central heating and which is spacious, light and airy throughout. It has been very much cared for by the present owner who has added some nice extras including plantation shutters and a large bookshelf display unit which can be included if required. In addition, the garden has been professionally landscaped.

A footpath leads to the front door which opens into a spacious hall with the staircase, cloaks cupboard and a cloakroom with a basin and wc. Double doors open into the well proportioned sitting room with a double aspect including a bay window. The room is set off by the bookshelf cabinet. The kitchen and dining room also has a dual aspect with double French doors into the sheltered garden. The room has plenty of space for the dining table and chairs and the kitchen area is well positioned with a peninsular unit discretely dividing the room. There are plenty of cupboards and work surfaces, a 2 bowl sink unit and integrated appliances including a double oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A door leads into the adjacent utility room with a sink unit, gas boiler and space and plumbing for a washing machine.

First Floor

On the first floor are 4 good bedrooms with a bathroom. The main bedroom has fitted wardrobes with “mirror” doors and an en suite shower room.

Alongside the house is a parking area in front of the garage and a neat garden in front of the house is bounded by timber fencing. The main garden is approached from the house by French doors and has a pergola, lattice fencing, a lawn, paved terrace and flower beds. It’s a delightful area and a great asset. There’s also a pedestrian door from the rear of the garage into the garden.
