It’s not a busy main road thoroughfare and is mostly used by locally based traffic. Number 69 stand back from the roadway in a slightly elevated position facing south and is well screened by it’s substantial boundary fence.

The property is a very appealing and very manageable detached three bedroom bungalow which has been extended in recent years with the addition of a super dining room which opens directly from the kitchen and overlooks the garden. The property is approached by tarmac drive which leads up to the bungalow where there is more than ample parking space. The front door opens into a hall and to the left is a pleasant sitting room which has a double aspect and big windows which flood the room with sunlight.

At the end of the hall the kitchen is well fitted with a good range of units, worksurfaces and appliances including a dishwasher and a large range cooker with an extractor above. There’s also plenty of space and plumbing for a washing machine and an American style fridge freezer. The kitchen opens directly into the dining room which is a fabulous space with large windows on three sides, French doors to the terrace and a lantern roof. Again the room is flooded with sunlight. In addition the bungalow includes three bedrooms and a recently refurbished shower room with tiling, under floor heating and a large walk-in shower.

At the front of the bungalow there’s a lawned garden and plenty of parking space. To the side is a garage and a gateway opens to a courtyard, flanked by the garage and the house, and approached by large French windows from the dining room. This makes this a well sheltered very private area ideal for outside living being simple relaxation or meals. It’s a very useful area throughout the year being so well sheltered and private . Wells is the smallest city in England (population about 11,000) lying in beautiful countryside between the Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Throughout the year Wells hosts festivals for Music, Literature, Art and Food, and has twinned links with Burgundy, the Rhineland and Northern Italy. There are many societies and clubs for those who would like to join a diverse social community.

The major towns of the area, Bristol, Bath, Taunton and Yeovil are all within commuting distance. There are excellent state & independent schools in the area which include several good primary schools, Wells Blue School, Strode College, Wells Cathedral School, Downside, All Hallows and Millfield .
