Bourton is a small rural village in North Dorset, close to the National Trust Stourhead Gardens. It is a popular and active village with a primary school, doctors surgery, well regarded pub/restaurant, parish church, village hall and a petrol station/shop/post office. The towns of Wincanton and Gillingham are also close by with a wide range of amenities including supermarkets: Gillingham - Waitrose, Aldi, Ldl and Asda and Wincanton- Morrisons and Lidl. There are highly regarded primary, nursery, State and Independent Schools in the area including: Hazelgrove in Sparkford, Millfield in Glastonbury and Street and Kings, Sexeys and Bruton School for Girls in Bruton.
