Both have a wide range of amenities and mainline stations to London. The nearby town of Frome also has a train service to Bath and London. The village has two churches (the oldest having Saxon origins), a post office, 2 pubs and the private members club Babington House is close by.
There are excellent state schools in the area and independent schools include Downside, All Hallows, Millfield, Wells Cathedral and the Bath and Bristol schools.
This is a good riding area with plenty of bridleways and quiet lanes. Ask the agents for further information.

INNER HALL with a cupboard containing the central heating boiler. SIDE HALL with door to garden. STUDY/5th BEDROOM double aspect with a radiator and views of the garden and paddocks. Double louvred doors open from the INNER HALL to the SHOWER ROOM with a shower cubicle, hand basin, plumbing for a washing machine and a SEPARATE WC adjacent.
FIRST FLOOR, The high ceilings and large windows give a sense of light and space throughout. LANDING with a large airing cupboard and store cupboard. BEDROOM ONE a dual aspect room with a Velux roof light and a range of fitted wardrobes. BEDROOM TWO & THREE with Velux roof lights. A footpath leads to the front door and a gateway in the wall opens to the garden. There is a large paved terrace leading onto a lawn with shrubs, fruit trees and a well-clipped hedge. On the north side of the house is a stable yard with its own-gated access to the lane.
In the yard is an open shelter and a timber range of stabling including a loose box , foaling box and a third box currently used as a tack room. Also off the yard is a hay/feed store. A gate from the yard opens into a small day paddock with a field shelter. The meadows lie immediately adjacent.
